Just got a T8 for Crimbo, but am stuck as it will not go past the boot mode (boot displayed on lcd screen and MBOX logo on TV screen). Been like it for last 40 mins so tried disconnecting usb hard drive and usb blue tooth device, powered the box down & disconnected / reconnected the power but same happens.
Any way of fixing ?
Cheers

Emailed support and got the following reply which has got the box working again.

"Hello,

OK, please try this procedure w/o downloading the file--

Just insert match into the socket marked AV on the back of your device, and keep pushing it in until you feel/hear a slight click.
Next, You should see a menu appear on your TV after 5-30 seconds - once this occurs, you can let go of the switch you've been holding down.
(Actually as its a T8 I had to put it into the reset hole next to the usb sockets and unplug then replug the power lead whilst holding it pressed in for 5 seconds whilst turning box on to get the menu to appear?)

Now select "wipe cache partition" and after it is done select "wipe data/factory reset" after that your device should start normally.

After that procedure-, RUN the DroidBOx Wizard again by following the steps here to get the latest XBMC skin update- https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/how-to-use-the-droidbox-wizard-add-on-in-xbmc/

Let us know if that helped."

Problem now is it won't recognise any usb drives attached to it. Bluetooth works fine.
Tried disconnecting all subs and power down, followed by reconnect then power up along with changing usb drive and cables. Any ideas anyone ?

Do you get any notifications in the drawer about preparing to mount USB Storage or similar?
Do you have a powered USB hub you could borrow from somewhere else in your house? If so, leave everything disconnected, connect hub to mains power and USB socket on your device. Attach a USB device.
