T8 Stuck in Boot

Hi I'm trying to support my gf's father with his new T8 ( purhased on Amazon ).

It looks like he has attempted a factory reset by pushing the small reset button ( not entirely sure why at this stage ) and it has now stuck on the android man with "boot" on the LCD. I note from a similar post that the owners box had to be sent back.

I own a x7 but have not gone down the reset route before. Is there an obvious next step to try ?

Any steer much appreciated.

Try reboot, and then wait sometime it can take a while to reboot. So just leave to see what happens, one gut tuck 1hour to reload. See what happens

Hi David ...thanks for this however I have rebooted and left since the last post to no difference.

GFs father also advises it was first done at the weekend and he has periodically checked by switching it back on so this is not due to insufficient time.

Might be time to use the live chat function on our main site, its the greenish box in the corner with messages in. Office hours only. Have you tried unplug the power then while pushing the reset button plug it back in and see if anything happens if not live chat 2moz. Good luck and let me no hiw you get on....thanks
