Hello, I'm new to Droidbox, when I try to type I get the grid but no letters ect. Can anyone tell me how fix this?

Are using the air mouse remote or the standard one. If it the air remote don't you have to activate the key board. Also to rule out a fault with the box try the one that came with the box see if that lets you type.

I'm using the standard remote.

I've come across this issue once before, the graphics for the keyboard on screen weren't put in place somehow. As a temporary fix, switching to the Confluence skin will sort the issue. When the new packs and Wizard comes out, we'll see if the problem remains. If it does, let us know and we'll fix it.
To swap the skin temporarily, please...
Open XBMC>System>Appearance>Skin (click)>Confluence (not Confluence Customizable Mod)>Confirm you're certain.
The keyboard should now work.
