Following the ROM update I'm still on 14.2 - is there any way to force it to 15 now? I assume pre upgrade I didn't choose 'Clear Data'

A) Factory reset!
You'll lose everything, but that way the apps included in the new firmware will be installed automatically.
https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/faq-2/how-to-access-your-droidboxs-recovery-menu/ - the 20 minute wait after the first reboot from the recovery menu is important, it allows the apps to be automatically installed

B) Uninstall the current version, and grab the newer APK from the /system/preinstall folder
Settings (two cogs)>OTHER tab>More Settings Button>Apps>Find Kodi 4 DroidBOX (or the exact name of your current build) in the list on the right
Click it>Force Stop>Confirm>Uninstall<Confirm
Home button

Little circle with six dots
ES File Explorer - close the update notification & the intro guide to using the app
Click on and expand the LOCAL menu on the left.
Select the / Device entry
Click the SYSTEM folder, then the PREINSTALL folder.
Now click on the
Kodi_15_droidbox_v1.apk file if you want to install Kodi
or the
dbmc_15_v19.apk file if you want to install DBMC
In either case, if you get a security warning, click the SETTINGS button, tick the UNKNOWN SOURCES option (then confirm it) then click on the APK file again.
