T8S not waiting up and needing a reboot

Hi,
I am having a strange problem...
Every night I leave the T8S running and just turn of the TV.
In the morning the box is non responsive, and I have to press the Power button to switch of and switch on again..!
Anyone had this problem before and knows how to fix It?

Hello,

Make sure you exit XBMC before turning your TV off, otherwise some Add-ons will keep running and will keep creating cache files on your Box .
Here is how you can exit XBMC if you have installed Wookie RetroPack:
>Inside Kodi or XBMC main screen click on power icon at the bottom next to star.

Is there a way of suspending it? Because I have tried that but it also freezes???

If you have an air mouse you can move the pointer down to the bottom of the page and then hold the OK or mouse key (depending on which you have) and swipe up. This should bring you the android sub menu, click the one which looks like two boxes and it should bring up all running apps. Just swipe them away to close them....but the power is still the best way and sometimes can take a few mins..

I was talking when the box is on openelec option not android.. Android works fine

That's alright I forgot to mention openelec so it's my fault

In Openelec you need to be on the normal Confluence skin to get back to android...plus in Openelec you just power off using your remote.
The other skins don't give you that option to switch back. Although you can go into Openelec setting and switch there....
