someone asked this the other day. It is dependent on whoever writes the firmware for the t8-s chip/processor updating it.

We need a few files to be released from AmLogic first, then we can write a firmware including it. Until then, there are some alternatives available, one is covered at

We don't have any sort of timeframe from them, so difficult to tell how soon changes can be made, sorry.
