webcam problem

hi guys.cant get mi webcam to work on my m8 it shows bluesh color with blur.its a hd usb cam.pls help

How long have you had your Droidbox m8? They haven't offered this machine for some time so it could be out of warranty if there truly is a hardware related fault. Is it possible there is a problem with the webcam itself - can you try it on some other device like a pc?
Has this problem only just started occuring? Is the webcam certified as android compatible?

ive had it for a year or two max.and yes i have tryed it on my laptop and it works perfecly.when i first godt the box i tryed another webcam and it did the same thing.i didnt need it back then budt now i need it and cant make it work.hope you guys can help out.i cant finde anythink about it on the net.i dont know if it is android compatible all i know is that its 1080p and ive tryed two cams on my m8.when i orderd it i think i orderd a m8s but got a m8.when i turn it on it says s802-mali450 thats all i know..

I think it will be a compatibility issue. Not all android boxes have the firmware or software to support webcams. This thread refers to some testing Droidbox carried out on their machines. As you will see, not all combinations of web cam and machine were successful.
