My new X7 won't turn on. I connected it up via HDMI and switched it on. Nothing appeared on the TV and after a few seconds the blue light on the on button went off. Tried it attached via AV, same thing. Tried a factory reset, same thing. Any ideas would welcome. New to these sorts of devices. Is it just faulty?

Sorry for the delay with getting back to you. It sounds as though there is a problem, the questions is whether the issue is with your X7's power supply, or the device itself. Can you e-mail us - see http://www.droidboxforums.com/threads/what-to-include-if-you-need-to-e-mail-us.364/ for the address and what to include - and ask for a new power supply (as recommended by SilentlyScreaming, to save them asking you to go through the steps you've already tried (factory reset)). We'll have your address etc registered from the original purchase. If a new power supply doesn't sort it, then we'll repair or replace the X7 itself.
