Youview (Humax) box?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.
I noticed that a Free-sat app is available on my T8-S.
So, can I use my ex BT Youview box in order to use the Freesat app?

I think that is probably a question to ask the freesat app developers - their contact details are in the blurb in google
play.
The blurb also suggests that you don't need a humax box in order to simply view programs.
Since there are unlikely to be many users here with the same configuration as you, my advice would be to try it. You are unlikely to break anything. And report back with the results in case there is anyone who has a similar set up or would like to view the extended range of freesat channels.
