I cannot find the zeroconf option anywhere so I can't get the official xbmc ios remote to work on my iPhone. I've watched all the videos on YouTube and nothing works. There was one video saying I needed to change the settings to expert level to open up the zeroconf option but I can't even do this. I have an M6 Droidbox

It looks as though the Zero Conf and Settings Level options aren't present in this 12.2 build of XBMC.

Just in case Zero Conf functionality is present, but not explicitly mentioned in the settings, or the iOS official XBMC remote offers other methods to control remotely,

Open XBMC, head to System>Services> and then under:
Remote Control and enable Allow programs on other systems to control XBMC,
Back one menu, then Webserver enable Allow control of XBMC via HTTP,
then under UPnP enable Allow control of XBMC via UPnP
