Droidbox was downloading app updates then restarted itself but came back without xbmc. I have looked at the forum and found a way to restart into reset menu but when I tried it does not work I held reset button in and inserted power lead and held reset button for 5 seconds it did not work. I have tried downloading cleaner but will not download just hangs on downloading can you please help.

@andy147 see my reply here - http://www.droidboxforums.com/posts/2713
@gizzo For the firmware file, please email us ( [email protected] ) please include the items mentioned here - http://droidboxforums.com/threads/what-to-include-if-you-need-to-e-mail-us.364/ so we can process your request quickly.
That said, you may be fine with just going through a factory reset. See https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/how-to-access-your-droidboxs-recovery-menu/ for details on accessing the Recovery Menu. If you have an iMX6 (compare it to the pictures here - https://droidbox.co.uk/choose-your-droidbox.html ) then once the Recovery Menu appears, highlight the Wipe data/factory reset option, and press the Go Back/Return button on your remote control to select it. Then confirm you're certain.
Once the process completes, reboot, complete any set up screens presented, selected which launcher you want to use, then wait 20 minutes (so the apps can re-install). Now open XBMC and run the DroidBOX Wizard - https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/droidbox-wizard-update-october-2014-2/ and enable auto-updates in Google's Play Store - https://droidbox.co.uk/blog/googles-play-store-signing-in-and-auto-updates/
