Hi.
Had an imx6 box around 13 months or so and very few problems with it thankfully.

However, when its switched on now it goes past the 2 droidbox splash screens but just stops
constantly on the silver "android" screen.
Ive tried the toothpick reset thing but it does exactly the same thing.

Also when it was working, i could never get any HD streams to play at all.
A click on any HD link wouldnt even get a response...SD links were fine.
Im assuming this is something that may need changing in the settings?

cheers for that Jigger
followed the steps and got back in but no xbmc now to run the droid box wizard...obvisouly because the steps tell you to wipe the box clean.
is there a link for the software that came with the box originally?.

edit...just seen a link on another post...will try that first...thanks

ok..
So thanks to the links..ive got everything running as before.
However still no HD links work at all.
I see a blog title with "Your model is set to 720p, your TV can handle 1080p?"
but the link is dead.

Jigger..
Thanks once again, im sure that blog post wouldnt come up when i clicked on it the last few times!
Anyway, as per those instructions
i changed the resolution in android settings to 1920x1080p 50Hz
but back in xbmc there was no option for 1080p at all so i assume it doesnt support it.

Later on, back in xbmc, genesis, and clicking on an hd link for a film and it starts playing!.

Thanks for your help.

update..
Worked well last night..
Then, this morning ..problems id previously had before...
The date stays at 1970 as its done before....wifi turns off...
opening any program/app withing xbmc immediately throws you out of xbmc.
After turning off and on, i get the "welcome setup" screen as if its a new device, pressing return gets me back to the main menu but now xbmc is not on the box again.

putting the firmware onto a sd card and entering the file manager..
it says the droidbox xbmc firmware is too big to install on the box??

infact i cant put anything on the box because of lack of space.

Ive done the factory reset under settings...but made no difference.

And i cant do the toothpick restore thing ...it never brings the restore menu up at all.
it just boots past the 2 droidbox screens to the welcome screen, regardless of how long i hold the toothpick in the back for.
