For me its nothing to do with "saving pennies" ....its purely a safety thing for me as in if its off nothing can happen . Probly due to 20+ years in the fire service. Makes one a bit paranoid about things plugged in but not in use lol .

Mine is off and unplugged at night or if not going to be in use .

The returns period is 2 weeks ... looks like I've just missed that boat. I doo feel slightly pissed off about it to be honest .. If id known a newer model was just away to come out I'd have waited a week .
